Burger King is taking on McDonald’s with the launch of a new burger that’s being added to its menu this week.
The fast food giant is bringing its Memphis Crispy Chicken Burger to fast food restaurants nationwide from tomorrow . It is also bringing back the Memphis King beef burger on the same day. Burger King fans who want to get hold of the new smoky menu additions can get a buy-one-get-one-free offer via the Burger King app today. You can download it via Google Play here or App Store here.The news comes less than a week after McDonald’s announced it will launch its own new chicken burger, the McCrispy, which has previously been released as a limited edition item. The McCrispy will become McDonald’s first permanent chicken burger in 15 years when it launches this week on October 19.
How the Burger King and McDonald’s crispy chicken burgers compare Burger King is pipping McDonald’s to the post by launching its Memphis Crispy Chicken Burger a day earlier. The burger features a ‘succulent chicken breast’, sandwiched between crispy bacon slices, melted American cheese, three onion rings, creamy mayo, Burger King’s signature smoky BBQ sauce, and it comes in a toasted brioche bun.
The McDonald’s McCrispy is a crunchy 100% chicken breast fillet, marinated in black pepper and cayenne. It will feature the classic mayonnaise with cracked black pepper and a savoury roasted chicken flavour. READ NEXT:
