UPDATE: Death of man whose burned body was found after Tesla fire in Valley Village determined to be accidental
The man's body was found just after 9 p.m. Monday when firefighters extinguished a fire involving a Tesla in the 12000 block of W. Riverside Drive.
The Los Angeles Fire Department says the Tesla was found engulfed in flames in the parking garage of a vacant two-story commercial building at Riverside and Whitsett Avenue.It's unclear what caused the fire and the man has not yet been identified. On Tuesday, LAPD officials said the death has been determined to be accidental. The coroner is continuing to investigate.Copyright © 2023 KABC Television, LLC. All rights reserved.
