Uvalde's Forum 6 movie complex is spearheading an effort to auction off movie and sports memorabilia to raise money for the Robb Elementary School Memorial Fund.
A poster from the movie"Miss Bala," signed by star Gina Rodriguez in a scene from"Miss Bala," is one of the items available in the Forum 6 auction.The Forum 6 movieplex in Uvalde is giving movie and sports fans a chance to fulfill their collector desires and donate to the Robb Elementary School Memorial Fund at the same time.
The theater has set up an auction on its Facebook page for a cache of movie memorabilia ranging from a"Miss Bala" poster signed by actres Gina Rodriguez, director Catherine Hardwicke and other cast members to a framed boxing glove signed by Mike Tyson.
To place a bid, the theater requests that you message the theater which item you want and the maximum amount you want to bid. The current high amounts will be updated daily. Bidding closes on Oct. 17 at 3 p.m. All of the money raised goes to the Robb Elementary School Memorial Fund. Donations were provided by Universal Pictures, Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Regal Cinemas.
