LAS VEGAS — Cal’s stay in the Pac-12 Conference tournament was a short one as Washington State led from start to finish Wednesday night while beating the Bears 66-59 in the first round game at T-Mobile Arena.
Washington State will look for its fifth straight win when it faces No. 2 seed UCLA in a Thursday quarterfinal. UCLA beat the Cougars 76-56 about three weeks ago.
