California-based Kelly-Moore Paint Co. is working on a corporate headquarters move to Irving.
Kelly-Moore plans to “occupy at least 15,000 square feet in the city of Irving as the company’s corporate headquarters by December 31, 2024,” according to the council agenda. The company will “employ 30 new, full-time jobs with an average annual salary of $100,000.”Kelly-Moore is considered one of the nation’s largest independent paint companies. The firm has more than $400 million in yearly revenues and a workforce of more than 1,200.
Kelly-Moore sold its 13-acre campus in San Carlos for $113 million in 2020. Since then, its offices have remained in a nearby building. The Irving building where Kelly-Moore plans to relocate is across from the Las Colinas Urban Center at 500 East John Carpenter Freeway. It’s owned by
