A Pomona woman delivering packages for Amazon suffered major injuries to her upper body when she was attacked by a pit bull in Highland on Thursday night, June 23, authorities said.The 52-year-old woman, an independent contractor for Amazon, opened the gate, entered the yard and was attacked by the dog, said Cpl. Nathan Campos of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.The delivery driver was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center. Campos didn’t know the woman’s current condition.
