Are Hogsthorpe and other villages falling victim to improper development planning?
East Lindesey village residents have been urged to continue their fight against new caravan site applications.
This decision left villagers feeling ignored, and has also led to the submission of additional applications for a new site at Ivy Lodge and an expansion to the existing park at Helsey Farm. "It's very important that a level playing field be created between the Planning Committee, the Parish councils and local communities," said Councillor Dawson.
Feeling dispirited by previous applications, local resident Tom Morrissey describes the situation as a"losing battle".
