A cruel thief ransacked a Nottingham charity helping the most vulnerable in the latest in a string of despicable thefts. .
"Someone just came in and helped themselves when they realised the door was open. We were waiting for a family to come in for an emergency food parcel, so for this to happen is very disheartening." The charity was disappointed the thief did not get a harsher sentence, with Mr Newbold adding: "The police put a lot of work in and we are very thankful for their efforts, but we're disappointed with the court result.
