Jesus Geraldo faced kidnapping charges on Wednesday in Mexico, accused of killing Callum and Jake Robinson and their American friend Carter Rhoad.
The girlfriend of a man charged over the deaths of two Australian brothers in Mexico has told a court her boyfriend confessed to killing “three gringos” after returning home from their campsite.
In court, Gisel said she’d told police her boyfriend had confessed he’d “f---d up three gringos” and stolen the tyres from their ute. Australian Federal Police are working with Mexican authorities to bring justice for the Robinson brothers and Rhoad, who were travelling in the Mexican state of Baja California when they failed to check into their accommodation.A few days later police arrived at their last known whereabouts and found a campsite covered in blood. The three bodies were discovered in a well, with bullet wounds to the head.
