Cambridge University students enjoy notorious 'Caesarian Sunday' for first time in three years
The annual summer party took place officially for the first time in three years due to disruption from Covid.
Tradition originated 80 years ago when Caesareans walked to the green to wrestle Girton 'Green Monsters'. The wrestling bout has since been banned but students have instead turned the tradition into a drinking event
