. At one point, Camila was asked whether any of the new songs might be about Shawn. She replied, "Towards the end there were — yeah, yeah." Although she didn't go on to confirm which of the exact songs might be about Shawn, fans had pointed to the previously released single "Shameless." In addition to talking new material, the singer opened up about dating and how her relationship inspired recent work. "Every song is its own story, and I think that's why I'm so close to this album," she said. "Obviously, the first [album] too, but the first one it was like everything was drawn from my imagination. I was single for basically 20 years."
Although Camila and Shawn haven't exactly been shy about professing their happiness with the new pairing, the singer further opened up about how she's feeling. "I'm so happy," she said. "I mean I have known him [Shawn] for such a long time, and I don't know, he just feels like home to me, so yeah, I'm really happy."
It is worth noting that Camila and Shawn have yet to outright confirm they are dating one another. Although they have been spotted frequently together, and they've shared in social media appreciation for one another, both have chosen to remain tight-lipped on the exact specifics of their reported relationship.
