Queen Consort Camilla is said to be a bundle of nerves after it was confirmed her ex-husband would be front and centre at the upcoming coronation ceremony.
The 83-year-old retired British Army officer will be seated in a prime position for the Westminster Abbey ceremony on May 6, where he will watch his former wife be crowned alongside her husband.

The Daily Mirror’s Royal Editor Russell Myers said the choice to invite Parker Bowles is an attempt at demonstrating a “blended family” from the royals. “He arranges so much for her. They have lunch together the whole time. He’s right in there. He was always, and still is, Camilla’s co-conspirator,” a source told The Times.
