"Focusing on incorporating fruit, vegetables, whole grains, seafood, poultry, legumes, nuts, and seeds is recommended." However, Dr Willer cautioned against the consumption of processed meats, noting that they are"not considered a core food group and should be avoided". Dr Willer highlighted the critical role of nutrition during cancer treatment, noting that treatments like chemotherapy can impact appetite, alter taste, and cause issues such as mouth ulcers or digestive problems.
