... [+]Here’s an exciting piece of news if you’re a lover of high-end earphones. Portland-based Campfire Audio has announced the launch of a brand-new pair of earphones with a unique twist. The company’s Supermoon earphones are the latest addition to the Campfire’s line-up of custom-fit in-ear monitors designed for musicians, audio professionals, and discerning music lovers.

Campfire Audio claims that Supermoon earphones have an “enveloping musicality” thanks to Campfire’s all-new 14mm custom planar magnetic drivers which are an incredible two microns thick. The earphones feature a detachable high-spec cable with beryllium and Copper MMCX connectors. Using the wafer-thin planar magnetic drivers in a pair of earphones is a rare event as getting this advanced driver technology to fit in such a small and enclosed space requires precision engineering.

The new drivers are housed in Campfire Audio’s patent-pending Solid Body earphone design. The shell uses the latest in 3D printing technology and bespoke craftsmanship to create an individual fit that’s optimized for each customer and is designed to provide a lifetime of superior listening experiences....
