The West’s thirst for nickel could mean Canada Nickel Company may not have to raise any equity to build the US$1.9 billion first phase of its Crawford project in Ontario, Canada, chief executive Mark Selby told Mining Journal.Under a traditional debt-equity project financing package, Canada Nickel would be expected to raise about $800 million through the issue of new shares.
