Jack Letts, who allegedly joined Isis at age 18, will face trial in Canada after being stripped of his British citizenship by the Home Office
ByThe Canadian government is to repatriate the British-born Isis fighter known as “Jihadi Jack”, along with 22 other citizens currently held in Islamic State prison camps.
“The conditions of the … men are even more dire than those of the women and children who Canada has just agreed to repatriate,” the court found. “It has been a very long time in coming, but this is finally a victory for human rights over false assertions of national security or the presumption of guilt before innocence,” she said.
