David's 11-year-old rescue cat has barely left his side since his incurable blood cancer diagnosis.
David, 66, said he had not been to see his doctor for 40 years when he developed a severe pain in his right shoulder.He went to see a doctor and was initially told he hadTwo weeks later the pain had moved from his shoulder to the bottom of his back so he returned to his surgery and saw another doctor.
"Or if I didn't react to it she would sit there and with her right paw she'd tap my face and wake me up."
