The Kremlin has dismissed the Ukrainian President’s 10-point peace plan unless it includes a key compromise from Kyiv, puncturing hopes the war could end before reaching its 11th month.

This includes the illegally annexed Ukrainian territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzia – about one fifth of Ukraine. The plan envisages Ukrainian territorial integrity being fully restored and the withdrawal of Russian troops, alongside a confirmation of the war’s end signed by both parties.
