Michael Eckerman has been charged with assaulting, resisting or impeding certain officers, among other federal offenses.

Michael Eckerman, 37, of Wichita, was arrested on Monday and charged with assaulting, resisting or impeding certain officers; obstruction of an official proceeding; and disorderly conduct in the Capitol building, according to the U.S.Eckerman is accused of pushing his way to the front of a crowd outside of the crypt in the Capitol building, where he yelled at officers.

According to the FBI report, the footage shows Eckerman"near the back entrance to the House Chamber, where Ashli Babbitt was shot by a law enforcement officer as she attempted to climb through one of the doors where glass was broken out to access the House Chamber. Just after the shooting, video captures Eckerman and his companions exiting the Capitol through the upper House doors at approximately 2:44.
