Two appliances from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were despatched and extinguished the blaze at the roadside. Police Scotland were also reported to have attended the incident.An image from the scene shows three firefighters standing at the scene and one is hosing down the vehicle. The car windows all appear to have been smashed in the incident and the vehicle itself is completely charred from the blaze.Speaking online, one eyewitness said the road could be closed due to the fire spreading.
She said: "Fire and police now on scene. A lot of smoke and trees on fire next to car.
