A 30-year-old man has been charged in connection with the discovery after officers stopped a vehicle on the M73 near Baillieston on Friday night.
Police officers recovered cannabis worth an estimated £286,000 and £10,000 in cash after stopping a vehicle on the M73 near Baillieston on Friday night, April 26.A drugs warrant was then executed at a property on Langlands Place in Cumbernauld at around 1.45am today, Saturday April 27, and a further quantity of cannabis was found.
The man was arrested and has been charged in connection with the discovery. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, April 29. Sergeant Barry Jones said: "Drugs cause misery in our communities and taking drugs off the street is a priority for Police Scotland.
