Carlton president Luke Sayers has been embroiled in a lewd photo scandal. A graphic photo of a penis was posted from the X account of the Blues boss before being deleted five minutes later. Sayers then quickly claimed it was not him who shared the photo. “Sorry my account has been hacked — please ignore all posts,” he wrote. His X account has now been deactivated. A senior female executive from a club sponsor was tagged in the since-deleted post.
In a statement to News Corp, Sayers said: “This is outrageous. I’m investigating and will leave no stone unturned finding out who did this to me and my family.” Sayers in the chair and founder of an consultancy firm named after him, having previously been the CEO of PwC. He has been president of Carlton since August 2021 and has been on the board since 2012. He was instrumental in the appointment of Michael Voss as coach in 2022.
