According to the indictment, Casey White was in possession of several guns when captured in Indiana.
The charges against White continue to pile up for a defendant who is essentially already serving a life sentence. Two years ago, White was sentenced to 75 years in prison for a 2015 crime spree. He also faces a capital murder trial in December in connection with the 2015 slaying of Connie Ridgeway.
And he has been indicted for murder in connection with the death of Vicky White, who took her own life as law enforcement closed in to capture Casey White. Casey White’s attorney, Mark McDaniel, has said his client will enter a not guilty plea on the murder charge in the death of Vicky White. Casey White’s arraignment on that charge is scheduled for Dec. 2.
Casey White was returned to Alabama hours after he was captured in Indiana and is being held at Donaldson Correctional Facility in Bessemer.
