Caste: Connie Nielsen, Jon Bernthal & More Cast in Ava DuVernay's Next Movie

Connie Nielsen, Jon Bernthal and more have been tapped to join Ava DuVernay's upcoming film adaptation of Caste.

It will use a “multiple-story structure to examine the unspoken system that has shaped America and chronicles how our lives today are defined by a hierarchy of human divisions dating back generations.”

The film is produced by DuVernay, Sarah Bremner, and Paul Garnes for ARRAY Filmworks. DuVernay has been developing the project since 2020, with Netflix initially attached to it.Maggie Dela Paz has been writing about the movie and TV industry for more than four years now. Besides being a fan of coming-of-age films and shows, she also enjoys watching K-Dramas and listening to her favorite K-Pop groups. Her current TV obsessions right now are FX’s The Bear and the popular anime My Hero Academia.
