Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT When Castle season 7 debuted in 2014, it was positively reviewed by critics as it offered plenty of twists, turns, and satisfying. Created by Andrew W. Marlowe, the show tells the story of Richard Castle , a charming yet goofy best-selling mystery author who teams up with straitlaced NYPD homicide detective Kate Beckett as they solve unusual crimes in the city.
About two months later, a coast guard finds Castle unconscious on a boat off the coast of the Atlantic Ocean with two bullet holes in his chest. He is immediately rushed to the hospital where he and Beckett reunite. While Castle makes a full recovery, he cannot remember what had happened to him or where he was within the past two months.
Castle and Beckett track down her last-known location: a dude ranch in Arizona. While traveling there, Castle and Beckett's team inform them that the woman was writing a research paper about the Peacock Boys, train robbers who were looking for gold at the dude ranch. When the duo arrives in Arizona, they find not only the young woman's killer but also the skeletal remains of the Peacock Boys.
Castle and Beckett look at the potential suspects: Mickey Franks , a star on the show who suffers from mood swings and was about to be fired; Danny Valentine , the guest host of this week's show; Kurt Van Zant , an ex-drug dealer who helped finance the show's first season but never received any money when it became a profitable and successful series, and Evelyn , Sid's ex-wife.
