A cat adoption centre was flooded after it suffered a burst pipe.
The incident at Cat's Protection Glasgow Adoption Centre, in Auchinloch, resulted in running water flooding one area that housed some of the cats.
For safety reasons, electricity to the affected wing has been shut off which has put two of the centre's three industrial washing machines out of action and washing is backing up. "Once the water was shut off we started the clean-up operation, and all the staff and volunteers have been amazing getting the water mopped up and making the area safe.
