Cate Blanchett has turned heads on the Venice Film Festival red carpet where the acclaimed actress mused about living with “shame and regret”.
'There's a distinct lack of shame': Cate Blanchett wows in daring red carpet look to promote new Apple series Disclaimer
Blanchett, 55, lived up to her reputation as a red carpet icon in a plunging velvet suit from Giorgio Armani’s Fall 2024 “Prive” collection. In Disclaimer, Blanchett will portray a famous journalist who deals with the public shaming, prompting the famously outspoken star to muse about the “lack of shame in society”.
“I'm white, I'm privileged, I'm middle class and I think one can be accused of having a bit of a white saviour complex,” she said during a UN panel at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
