The Defense Logistic Agency has awarded Caterpillar a $1.28 billion contract to supply construction equipment, the Department of Defense announced on Thursday.
The department received three bids for the economic-price-adjusted, indefinite-delivery requirement contract, which will last for five years with no option periods.Other deals are slated to be included within this larger contract, which is intended for use by the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.

The Navy announced a maximum-value $20 million contract to a small business in Guam, WMEM JV LLC, to indefinitely deliver"mechanical, electrical, and fire protection architect-engineer services for projects located primarily" nearby, and it also gave a $15 million contract with Peraton//Arcfield to support the Navy’s Strategic Weapons Systems Reentry Subsystem.
