The fire was reported in Adams County around 1 a.m. Thursday.
Coroner Pat Felix said Samuel Helsley was pronounced dead in a home on the 300 block of Arendtsville Road in Biglerville Thursday morning. His cause of death is pending toxicology results, Felix said.
The fire was first reported around 1 a.m. and extinguished roughly three hours later, according to Pennsylvania State Police.Helsley was the only person inside the home at the time of the fire, authorities said.
