Shocking footage has captured a man allegedly attempting to rob a small business in Central Queensland with a large machete, threatening two of the store's workers.

CCTV footage released by Queensland Police showed the man enter a store at Berserker, wearing a dark-coloured hooded jumper, on Monday about 6.30pm.
