The assault happened on board a train from Balloch to Old Kilpatrick on Tuesday, July 25.
The man was travelling on a a train from Balloch to Old Kilpatrick on Tuesday 25 July 2023 around 10.25am when the incident occurred.
Officers are keen to speak to the man in the images and are appealing to anyone who recognises him to come forward.He is described as white, medium build, aged between 30 and 40, short light brown hair. At the time of the assault the man was wearing a black jacket with a hood, black trousers/jogging bottoms with a red stripe down each side, black trainers and carrying a black bin bag and black rucksack.Top news stories today A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: "Anyone with information is urged to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 and quoting reference 2300086261.
