The fire was lit at a panel shop but spread to a factory building where two men were sleeping.
A panel shop went up in flames on Bunnett Street, Sunshine North, just after 4am on Friday, February 23.
Police were told a white, dual-cab ute pulled up outside the building before a man got out and emptied a jerry can on the factory door before setting it alight. Police have released a composite image of a man sought after a deadly fire in Sunshine North, Melbourne. The fire spread to a building behind the panel shop, a factory on Marshall Street, where two men were sleeping inside at the time.The white ute has a silver tray and was captured on CCTV travelling north on Bunnett Street on CCTV.The additional CCTV released today shows the ute on Albert Drive in Melton South at about 4.40am on the morning of the fire.
