The image of a man picked up on CCTV has been released by police who are investigating a serious assault near to Morrisons supermarket in the Gallowgate earlier this year.
Police have released the image of a man they want to speak to in connection with a serious assault in the east end.
The incident unfolded near to Morrisons supermarket in the Gallowgate around 7.45pm on April 2, 2023. The man officers are looking to speak to is described as being a white male between 30 and 40-years-old. He had a shaven head with dark/greying stubble and was wearing a North Face tracksuit. Detective Constable Alan Martin said: “We would ask this man or anyone who may recognise him to contact us. Additionally, if anyone witnessed this assault or has any information about it, please get in touch. "Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3306 of 2 April 2023. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously."
