Pride of Erin owner Jimmy Campbell has been behind the bar for nearly 29 years. His family has owned it for the last 40. He partnered with Bart Leneghan in 1982 to purchase the tiny pub that has embraced its Irish heritage from its beginning. And, other than the name, not much has changed over the years.

“We are the last one of the traditional Irish pubs around here, so most of the regulars who used to frequent the Irish bars from the old days still come into our place,” Campbell said. “That’s how you know how long people have been drinking here. If they call it the ‘Pride,’ they have been drinking here for the last 40 years; if they call it 3-leaf Shamrock, for the last 50; and if they call it the 1-2-3, they have been around a really, really long time.
