You can now get the celebrity treatment via your phone.
Ever wished you could have access to a celebrity stylist, whether for an event or for an entire closet overhaul? Well, thanks to Vancouver-born stylist Karla Welch, you’re in luck., Sarah Paulson, Karlie Kloss, Busy Phillips and Ruth Negga to name just a few.
“I never want you to open your closet and think ‘I don’t know what to wear. I wish I had a stylist. I wish I knew what to buy…Well, wish no more. I’m your stylist,” she says in a video introducing her newest venture. But what exactly is WISHI? Well, according to the official website, the app has been designed to “show you how to build a wardrobe from scratch, shop smarter and how to bring life to what’s already in your closet.
After completing the Style Match quiz, you’ll be paired with one of the talented stylists working with the app who will then create a personalized edit of clothing specific to your style and budget. There are two options: WISHI Mini, which is designed for people who want advice for a specific event, like a wedding or a holiday for example, and costs around CAD$55 a month.
The stylists pull looks from different brands around the globe, all within your designated budget, and there’s no pressure to buy anything they suggest. At the very least you’ll get some fresh inspiration for your wardrobe, and at best you’ll be living your most stylish life yet. Either way, you’ll never have “nothing to wear” ever again.
