Martindale reckons his players put in so much into the Scottish Cup quarter-final
Livingston boss Davie Martindale reckons his players deserved better than a 4-2 Scottish Cup quarter-final defeat to Celtic this afternoon.
They stuck to the game plan, their shape was good, their discipline and aggression within the shape was good, created problems for Celtic on two or three occasions, and we took our chances when they came."I'm not sitting here saying we should have beat Celtic, I understand it's a difficult game, and they created the better chances.
"I'm a wee bit disappointed, it's big moments in games, but that's why big players are at clubs like Celtic.
