The footballer said he has formed genuine connections with families who have young ones in hospital and is delighted to play a small part in their journey, the Daily Record reports. "And being able to bring a smile to their faces with the help of gaming is truly amazing. I would encourage anyone out there looking to bring some joy to the world to give this a try." The Gaming Volunteer programme is open to keen gamers who would like to make a positive impact on the lives of young patients in hospital, with just a three-hour commitment required per week.
