The Lancaster Bureau of Police arrested a 22-year-old 'without incident' in connection with Monday afternoon's fatal shooting.
Jonathan Bergmueller | [email protected] Concepcion, 22, of Lancaster, faces charges of criminal homicide, possession of a firearm while prohibited, transfering a firearm and carrying a firearm without a license.
Concepcion shot Israel Lugo, 68, of Lancaster, multiple times Monday at around 2 p.m. on the first block of West New Street in Lancaster, according to police. Police said Lugo later died at an area hospital. The Lancaster County coroner ruled that Lugo died of multiple gunshot wounds and his manner of death was homicide, according to police.
The Lancaster County Special Emergency Response Team and the Lancaster Bureau of Police took Concepcion into custody on the 300 block of South Queen Street “without incident” Tuesday, according to police.
