James Zook, 69, pleaded guilty Monday to charges involving 14 different victims over 15 years at a personal care home in Lancaster County.
A Mountville man has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing 14 personal care home residents in Lancaster County over 15 years—offenses that carry prison sentences of up to 3,000 years.
One victim told police Zook would lay in his bed with him and forcefully touch his genitalia one or two times a week from 2019 to 2022. An administrator reported the abuse to police in November, 2022. Zook has been released on $50,000 bail since February of this year. His public docket does not list a sentencing date.
Faith Friendship Ministries, Inc—the company that owns the Faith Friendship Villa—knew or should have known Zook was abusing residents and failed to take meaningful action to prevent it or stop it sooner, the lawsuit said.
