The assault was reported nearly two years ago, but the arrest was made following DNA testing last fall.

The woman called the police on Feb. 8, 2020, the morning after the assault. She said the night before, she was heavily intoxicated and called a friend to pick her up. They went to that friend’s apartment in the 3200 block of Dunlap Lane, Lower Allen Township to stay the night, police said. When police arrived at the apartment, Anderson had left and the woman was visibly distraught and upset while speaking with investigators.
