Changing your mind is good for you ... just don’t expect your brain to agree
Scientists say a new research review confirms that changing your mind is usually a good idea, although our brains are wired to make us think it’s bad.
Study author Dr Dragan Rangelov said the idea that became clear across all the research was that changing your mind is usually a good idea. He said that was in direct opposition to the fact that changing our minds is hard because of how our brains process information. “This is not like ordinary decision-making, like what shirt you should wear today; this is a process where the brain has to think about itself,” he said.
