Wedding chaos for Glasgow couple after bags go missing days before dream Ibiza ceremony
A Glasgow family were thrown into utter chaos after their dream Spanish wedding was nearly scrapped when their luggage never arrived at Ibiza Airport.
Speaking to Glasgow Live Mark said: "We had this trip planned for such a long time, there were 31 guests flying from Edinburgh and another 30 flying from elsewhere to meet us. Instead of a boat trip to kick off the wedding celebrations, guests had to spend their Monday morning racing around local supermarkets to find things to wear, Mark continued: "we had no option than to go and find ourselves some essentials, like shorts and t-shirts from local shops.
The wedding party were left "flabbergasted" after claiming to not have heard a single thing from Ryanair, nor an apology. Mark has now submitted a claim for all expenses that occurred due to the ordeal and has requested compensation, however, he claims Ryanair have "refused to pay the legitimate expenses put through" - that being 2100.12 euros, with Ryanair offering to pay 829.12 euros.
