King Charles has made his highly anticipated return to public duties, as he visited a cancer treatment centre to meet patients and specialists, following his own diagnosis
King Charles has returned to public duties for the first time since revealing his shock cancer diagnosis. The monarch has been undergoing treatment after publicly sharing the news of his health battle on 6 February.
It was confirmed that King Charles would be making his highly anticipated return to public duties by Buckingham Palace in a statement. It was said that engagements will be "adapted where necessary" for the King, whose medical time are "very encouraged" by his progress. Speaking exclusively to OK!, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said the King’s restoration to public life was hugely welcome news, but warned that it must be seen as a cautious return.
