Little Aurelia died in her parents arms earlier this month after nearly a year-long battle with a rare form of blood cancer The toddler sustained serious neurological consequences which meant she could not speak, walk, chew or even smile as she underwent an urgent set of spinal chemotherapies and a bone marrow transplant, her parents told their GoFundMe.'However, we are putting all our energy, love and positive vibrations towards her cure and providing her with all the possible normalcy, comforts and joy that we can.
Before her death more than a thousand well-wishers had raised £202,247 for the little girl. Any sum not used is set to be donated to Great Ormand Street. 'Our thanks and admiration for the contributions made here are boundless. Without them, the armies of doctors, nurses, healers, therapists, specialists and researchers that saw to her care would not have been possible.'
