Dean Bernardini is nearing the end of his run with. As the band announced the dates for their upcoming fall tour, Bernardini announced that he's stepping down after the run of North American dates to spend more time with his family and concentrate on his fine art and furniture business.
"To all my dedicated friends/fans: It is with a heavy heart that I have decided I will be taking a break from the road to spend some much needed time at home with my family," Bernardini announced on the band's Facebook page. "I consider myself lucky to have been a part of Chevelle & have shared the stage with such incredible musicians. These past 15 years & 6 albums have been amazing to be a part of.
Bernardini joined the band in 2005 after former bassist Joe Loeffler left the band and has appeared on five studio albums, beginning with 2007's. Thr group will hit the road this fall beginning on Wednesday with a show in Salt Lake City at USANA Amphitheatre and current plans have them playing shows through a Dec. 14 gig at the Horseshoe Tunica in Robinsonville, Mississippi.
