Timothy Trybus, of the suburb of Des Plaines, was convicted Wednesday in a Cook County court over his tirade against Mia Irizarry at the Caldwell Woods forest preserve in Chicago in June 2018, according to the Cook County state's attorney's office. In cellphone footage captured by Irizarry, Trybus repeatedly asks her if she is a U.S. citizen and when Irizarry tells him that she is, he chides her for wearing a shirt with the Puerto Rican flag.Forest Preserves of Cook CountyAt another point in the video, he tells her:"You're not going to change us. ...
