Chicago-based Logistics Property Co. is planning an almost 800,000 square-foot industrial project southwest of Dallas in Midlothian.

A Chicago-based developer that just landed a huge warehouse lease in southern Dallas County is ready to go with its next industrial project in North Texas.in Wilmer to Nike. The international footwear and apparel firm will put regional shipping hub in the building near Interstate 45.is setting its sights on another massive warehouse southwest of Dallas in Midlothian.

The building in the developer’s Southern Star will total almost 800,000 square feet, according to planning documents filed with the state. Logistics Property Co. is already building an almost 550,000-square-foot distribution building in the industrial park on U.S. Highway 67, about 20 miles southwest of Dallas on Railport Parkway.Logistics Property Co.’s Midlothian project is scheduled to open in first quarter 2024.Logistics Property Co. was founded in 2018 by former officers of Ridge Development and Macquarie Asset Management.
