They are well and truly unhappy 🤬

A question mark hangs over a dog exercise business in South Ribble after councillors refused permission for it to continue in its current location.

Mr. Booth also said that one customer’s dog had caused carnage after escaping from the field and bursting into his garden “due to the fence height not being sufficient to keep in large, powerful dogs. It slaughtered our child’s pet chickens. What if our four-year-old daughter had been in the…garden at the time and been the victim of this dog?

She added: “Concerns about noise disturbance are overstated. This is not a peaceful and idyllic location – and the background noise levels…are very high due to the local road and motorway network. In any event, the council’s environmental health officer has confirmed that they have no objection to the development, providing the proposed conditions are adhered to.”

Farington East ward councillor Paul Wharton-Hardman asked the committee whether they would want people at the foot of their garden shouting “Max! Max! Max!…or whatever other dogs’ names…every day of the year”. A handful of members suggested deferring their decision about the application to allow the various concerns to be addressed, but the majority opted for outright refusal.
