Child killed in car crash involving cement truck in east Harris County
A baby died Friday afternoon in an east Harris County car crash in which a cement truck landed on top of a vehicle, officials said.
Deputies responded shortly before 3 p.m. to a major crash at the intersection of Woodforest Boulevard and East Sam Houston Parkway near Cloverleaf,What we know about the Pearland, Houston fatal shootings that left 3 dead after gun deal, carjacking "It appears a cement truck traveling on the main lanes lost control, went over the overpass and landed on top of a vehicle with four occupants," the sheriff said.
Three people were able to get out of the vehicle, according to Gonzalez, but a 22-month-old infant was pronounced dead at the scene.
