Explosives have been found in the car of the man who fired on Donald Trump while the presidential candidate addressed a rally in Pennsylvania at the weekend. Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, has been identified by the FBI as the man responsible for injuring Trump and killing rally attendee Corey Comperatore when he fired at Trump from a nearby rooftop before he was shot and killed by a Secret Service sniper. No motive has yet been identified for the attack on Saturday .
“So, the review will be absolutely comprehensive, and all of these little clues and details of what he brought, what his intention, what his state of mind, what kind of writing, communication, his entire background will be part of this review.” Andrew said the explosives could have been part of an earlier plot. “It could have been a failed prior plan that he still had the material from … the investigation will certainly reveal that to us. So, it’s too early to say ,” Andrew said.
